I have gotten comments from HP fans and just general people who liked the look. It seems a bit fragile, so I have discouraged a lot of spinning by kids, but you can definitely spin it some and the sand in the hourglass really runs down. It is a fun way to remind you to use your time wisely and has interesting quotes engraved around the edges of the large and medium rings.
