Re-read Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Today: Nimble Books Commentary (Re-read Harry Potter Today) ReviewThis book is quite good. I do enjoy Davis' book about the Sorcerer's Stone more, perhaps it is because I enjoy reading the 1st Harry Potter book more than the second one. You can tell from his writing that Davis is a very knowledgeable author and a true Harry Potter fan.Here is an excerpt from this book I happen to have high-lighted (I believe it is from Chapter 16, The Chamber of Secrets):
"Outcomes of actions influence our assessment of the rightness of those actions. Harry and Ron cover themselves in glory, so we approve their actions. Had they died we would have seen their actions as foolish. There is a very thin line between bravery and stupidity, and as Harry and Ron enter the Chamber of Secrets it is uncertain which side of the line they are on."
I really hope there will be more "Re-read Harry Potter" books in the future (for HP volumes 3-7). Or at least a book/commentary on the Deathly Hallows. There is so much to cover. I have purchased a "Shmoop" guide to Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, but it just isn't the same. Please continue with the series.
