Jack Tracy & The Priory of Chaos ("The natural successor to J K Rowling's Harry Potter") ReviewThis story is incredibly entertaining. My 10 year old son insisted I read it! Jack is so likable as the lead. His friend Henry is hilarious. And Samantha is like an animal championing version of Hermione Granger. There's a real sense of danger as the plot unfolds and these characters find themselves going on a mission to 'the place where evil began.' The Priory of Chaos itself is like a darker version of Hogwarts. Instead of spells they teach wickedness. The Priory's motto being 'to corrupt is to ascend.' I enjoyed this more than any of the Harry Potters I've tried. It's funnier, darker and for me the characters are more memorable. But most impressive of all it has heart. I actually shed a tear at the end.
