The Road to Dendura (The Creed Griffon Series) ReviewThis was the first e-book I'd ever purchased! I was not disappointed. Originally, I'd purchased a hard copy but lent it to another teacher, because I'd received a Kindle as a gift for my birthday. I found out later that the Creed Griffon website gives out a free copy to teachers or librarians who qualify! (For those of you that are interested. ) Regardless, my kids and I loved The Road to Dendura! As a matter of fact, we've read it from start to finish all over again. It is fast paced and action packed, not in the least bit a sleeper! A definite on the edge of your seat type story and was recommended on the B.O.B list at school. If your child is not an avid reader, after reading this book, he/she will be. I don't want to spoil the story for you, but it is about a young boy, Creed Griffon who discovers that he was put into a deep slumber to erase his entire past. He was awakened to a younger age and hidden in a private school so the creatures that hunt him will not find him. The book is a combination of a thriller, mystery, and comedy - especially when you have to read Druix! As I mentioned, you can go to the Creed Griffon website and read more about the book and author. Prior to purchasing it, I also read a few blogs. Each had positive things to say about C. L. Lewis and the book. Overall, we can't wait for the next one in the series to come out! In a day and age when it is so hard to keep children/adults interested in books, I feel that C. L. Together they battle GIESTS, a BANDOLIX, ROOT SERPENTS, BRIDGE TROLLS, GHEDDONS, the POLICE, FALLON, and DENEGAUL - the core of all that is evil. Great for ages 9 to 99 years old!The Road to Dendura is a nonstop action packed fiction adventure about magic, trust, betrayal, unlikely friendships, good versus evil, facing fear, and the transference of a young boy into a young man.
