Prince of the Elves (The Frontmire Histories - Book I) ReviewPrince of the Elves was a good read. While it contains all the fantasy elements such as Elves, Giants, Faerie, Dwarves, Trolls and magic there are often surprises that defy sterotypes. Readers of Tolkein and Robert Jordan will enjoy this saga.
Jehard's quest is filled with the unexpected. The companions he picks up along the way are likeable and well developed. I especially like the way the female characters are defined. It is interesting to watch Jehard mature during his trek.
I am looking forward to the next books. I find myself wondering about some of the lesser characters and hope to see them developed into stronger characters in future releases.
