The author is to be applauded for taking the reader into an extraordinary realm that is dark, mysterious and awesome. The intensity is a cliff hanger of terror, pain and I can see already a huge readership. It is not often we read of Native Americans and I think here lays the strength of the Crow Mountain books as well as in the research. Istakah, a mysterious, dark medicine man, and practitioner of the witchery way, forms a clan of Yee Naaldlooshi, and seeks revenge for the slaughter of his people. Antonio Narbona seeks peace for the Navajo people, and begins to seek treaties with the Spanish, and United States governments.
